  • The festival occurs as the leaves turn brilliant shades during the best time of the year in Summit County. Breckenridge is a town that earned the No. 1 spot in 2017’s Arts Vibrancy Index for Small Cities by SMU’s National Center for Arts Research. Breckenridge was also named the best small town in Colorado by Country Living Magazine in 2017.

    • “According to reviews from real FilmFreeway users, your festival ranks in the top 2% of more than 4,700 film festivals and creative contests around the world. No doubt, this ranking is a testament to the countless hours of hard work and care that you and your staff have devoted to creating such a wonderful event.”

  • Every attending filmmaker is given personal attention by both the programming team and the liaisons who can answer their questions and assist in their stay.

  • Filmmakers who attend have access to a personal liaison & a friendly hospitable VIP lounge stocked with yummy treats and beverages, and many fun parties in local establishments.

Breckenridge Film Festival was such a treat! Very well organized and great communication. They assign festival liaisons to each filmmaker so that all your questions are answered before and during the festival. The community got behind the festival, too, with packed audiences and thoughtful questions in the Q&A. We met many passionate and talented filmmakers, too, through both the forums and parties. I loved everything about Breckenridge!
