Breck Create Campus Crawl – May 24th
This free event, put on by Breck Creat, invites visitors of all ages to explore the Breckenridge Arts District! There will be live music, artist talks, hands-on activities, and interactive exhibits that help bring awareness to some of the incredible creativity in our town.
Breckenridge Agave Festival – June 27-29
A three-day celebration that’s pure heaven for tequila and mezcal enthusiasts. Featuring tastings at Main Street Station and Quandary Tequila Bistro, along with tacos and live music, this festival perfectly captures the spirit of summer in the mountains.
Breckenridge Art Festival – July 3-5
Marking its 42nd year with an impressive showcase of paintings, sculptures, photography, and mixed media works at the Village at Breckenridge. With free admission, it’s the perfect way to spend a summer weekend exploring the work of talented artists from across the region.
Independence Day Celebration & Firecracker 50 – July 4th
Experience a classic mountain town Fourth of July with a parade down Main Street, the challenging Firecracker 50 mountain bike race that draws riders from across the country, and family-friendly festivities that epitomize small-town America.
Breckenridge Food & Wine Festival – July 25-27
This one’s always a hit. Make sure to market your calendars for July 25-27 for days of wine tastings, great food, and live entertainment! The Breckenridge Food & Wine Festival is always one of the season’s most anticipated events in the area (just be ready for tourists!)
National Repertory Orchestra (NRO) Concerts – June & July
Want to get out and enjoy some free outdoor concerts at historic locations around Breckenridge? The National Repertory Orchestra (NRO) is performing throughout the summer at locations such as the Barney Ford Museum and Blue River Plaza.
Breck Sunday Market – June 8 through September 7
Every Sunday at Main Street Station, you’ll find local crafts, fresh produce, and live music. It’s a great way to get to know the locals, find new tastes, and spark creativity!
Fall Events In Breckenridge
The fun doesn’t end just because the days start to get shorter. In fact, some of Breck’s best fun happens in the months before the resorts call snow lovers back.
Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA) – August 15-24
Make sure to mark your calendar for this year’s BIFA! This is ten days of art installations, performances, music, and workshops that turn the town into an outdoor gallery. Whether you’re an art aficionado or just enjoy getting that creative spark, BIFA is a great fall event in Breck.
Breckenridge Wine Classic – August 21-23
Another of the region’s top wine events, the Breckenridge Wine Classic brings together over 100 wineries and distilleries for a weekend of fun. You’ll get to take part in grand tastings, wine-pairing hikes, and workshops/seminars. It’s the best way to combine mountain adventure with vinous education!
Breckenridge Hogfest: Bacon & Bourbon – August 22-24
One of our favorites? The Breck Hogfest! Whether you love smoked meats or a mean bourbon, Hogfest turns Main Street Station into Hog Heaven. You’ll enjoy premium tastings, live music, and some pretty impressive bacon dishes!
Breck Annual Great Rubber Duck Race – August 30th
Have you ever witnessed thousands of rubber ducks racing down a river? The annual Rubber Duck Race in Breck sees more than a few (thousand) duckies race down the Blue River for charity. It’s family fun at its finest!
Breckenridge Oktoberfest – September 12-14
Nothing says fall like authentic German beer and live music in downtown Breck. This is Colorado’s iconic Oktoberfest celebration, and the event draws visitors yearly from across the state. Plan ahead because this year looks to be even more popular than ever!
Breckenridge Film Festival – September 18-21
We may be a bit biased, but we think that the Breck Film Fest is one of the best events of the fall – if not the entire year! As one of the nation’s oldest film festivals, the Breckenridge Film Festival is four days of excellent screenings, acclaimed filmmaker talks, and fun that celebrates the art of cinema.
Bluegrass + Beer Festival – September 26-28
Sometimes you want to spend the day combining two of life’s greatest pleasures: exceptional bluegrass music and craft beer tastings. Throw in some great mountain views, and you’ll find that everything just tastes better!
Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival – October 3-5
Wrap up your fall with the Breck Craft Spirits Festival in early October. Held at the Riverwalk Center, you can enjoy tastings of craft spirits and cocktails, and some excellent food from local restaurants.
